Being an affiliate marketer can be very profitable, but only if done the right way. There are a lot of people out there teaching it the wrong way.

You can make some quick money with affiliate marketing, but it’s not going to be overnight and it’s not as easy as they lead you to believe.

Now normally when you start a business, you can expect it to take you 2 to 3 years before you start to see any real profits.

However with affiliate marketing you can start to see profits within your first week. This will take hard work and effort on your part. There is no push button solution to making money online.

Anyone who tells you that you can instantly start making money overnight without doing anything is a liar.

They only tell you this so you will buy products from them, yes there are many people who can just send out an e-mail and make hundreds of thousands of dollars.

But what they forgot to mention was the years of hard work that it took to get to that point.

So don’t be discouraged if you only make a few hundred dollars your first week in affiliate marketing that is actually really good.

Making money with affiliate marketing is similar to a snowball rolling downhill, it will continue to grow bigger and faster the more you do it.

But if you expect to send one single snowflake rolling down the hill it will take you a lot longer to get the type of result you are expecting.

So if you want to be lazy and only put in a little bit of effort only expect small results, but if you want to make big money with affiliate marketing then you better expect to put in some serious effort.

Fear is one of the most powerful feeling we have as individuals. It can literally control out lives if we are not careful.

Fear can keep you from ever reaching your highest goals and dreams in life. The first step is making the decision to start working towards your freedom.

The second step is overcoming your fear, your fear of rejection and your fear of failure. Fear of failure is one of the most paralyzing types of fear we as entrepreneurs have. Fear can keep us in our little boxes for the rest of our lives.

Good thing there is a way to overcome your fear and really start working towards your future. The number 1 and most powerful weapon against fear is action. No matter how afraid you are to sit in front of the camera or put a pen to a pad. As long as you take action and just do it the fear will diminish.

You will start to feel a little more comfortable every time you do it. Hell you may even suck at it at first, but the truth of the matter is that you will get better at it. Pretty soon you won’t even realize your doing the things you were afraid of in the first place.

The first time I shot a YouTube video it took me about 10 tries to finally relax and look at the camera and get my message across. Now I can sit down and do 30 at a time if I wanted.

It is actually very fun for me now and I have a hard time staying in the 10 minute time frame YouTube allows. Even when I started writing content I wasn’t sure if anyone was gonna want to read it.

I didn’t know if anyone was gonna like it, but I never would of known if I didn’t just do it. I took a leap of faith submitted a few articles shot some videos, then it took me another 30 minutes to decide to actually put the stuff online.

Few beers later I eventually pressed the button, and I am so glad I did because it completely changed my life. I am more confident in everything I do, I meet a ton of awesome people all over the world and meet and talk to people everywhere I go.

I was scared as hell at first, but if I never would of done it I would of spent my whole life wondering “what if” and that would have been 1,000 times worse than just overcoming my fear and just doing it.

Your not the only person who worries or has fear, I bet Tony Robbins was nervous the first time he got on stage to speak in front of a crowd 100k plus.

I bet Oprah was scared the first time she sat down in front of millions of people and did a show on national T.V. But they just did it took action and the pay offs were huge.

Now they live for what they do, and love every single minute of it, when you love what you do and make a killing doing it, there is no greater reward.

Go out and do it, don’t spend the rest of your life wondering, use action to destroy fear and and change your life today.

I have heard a lot of discussions going on about the death of clickbank. The superman of all affiliate networks. Well at least the most well known anyway.

Clickbank has paid out hundreds of millions of dollars to affiliate marketers like us. The only problem is there are a few people out there pushing the agenda that clickbank is dying.

They have no particular reason for doing this, it just has to be somebody else’s fault that they are not getting sales.

They get 100 hops from some B.S. Traffic source and when they get any sales they hit the blogs and forums talking about how their tracking system is broken and they are not getting credits for their sales.

It cant possibly be that their marketing sucks, it’s the whole damn system that’s screwed up. Clickbank
has always and will continue to help people make money online. It does take a good solid effort and good marketing on your part.

But marketing what is this marketing you speak of. “I spammed links on twitter all day why didn’t I make any sales”

Sorry that’s not marketing my friend, I don”t know what that is but I can guarantee you it wont make you any money online.

Making money online is about building relationships, helping people out, and creating good valuable content.

Just because you have a blog with banners all over it with a paragraph of the worst content you can think of doesn’t mean your gonna make money. Even with a million targeted visitors to a site like that your gonna fail to make any real money.

So stop blaming everyone else when you don’t make any money. Just Dust yourself off and try again.

I don’t care how long you have been in affiliate marketing, you never know all there is to know. The internet is one of the most fast paced and changing things since the beginning of time.

I talk to many potential coaching students and a lot of them say the same thing, they say things like I already know all there is to know. To me once you say that I come to the realization that you don’t have what it take to succeed online with affiliate marketing. Plus if you know everything there is to know why don’t you make any money.

Online if you don’t keep learning and staying current on what’s going on you are gonna get left behind. One day you could wake up and one small thing in your system can change and wipe you completely out.

I usually dedicate one hour a day to reading the the latest internet news, increasing my knowledge and growing my internal value.

As an entrepreneur you cannot limit yourself with the statement ” I know all there is to know about affiliate marketing and business”.

Ask any billionaire business man or women if they know all there is to know and I could bet my entire fortune that they would say “no”

Just because you use article marketing, bookmarking, a squeeze page and a sales funnel, doesn’t mean you know everything there is to know about marketing.

If you knew all there were to know about marketing you would be the world’s first trillionaire entreprenuer and my guess is if you have this self limiting mindset you are very far from it.

Affiliate marketing isn’t just about promoting any product out there just because you can. You have to actually believe that the product you are promoting is good.

You don’t want to be known for just promoting any crap product on the market, because that is one sure way to destroy your credibility and trust in any marketplace.

Before I promote a product it has to pass a very strict number of test’s before I will even consider promoting it.

I even contact the owner of the product to see if he or she actually believes in what they are selling. If the product owner doesn’t even believe in his own product it really must be crap. The last thing you want to do is turn your name into crap.

If you really do believe the product you are promoting will benefit the lives of the people you are promoting it too, it will show in your work.

You will be more effective in your marketing efforts because you know that you are actually helping people out and not just getting them for their money.

If you truly feel that you are benefitting the lives of others you will always to your best to put your best work out there and as a result you will see higher conversion rates.

If you know the product is crap or if you don’t know you will be hesitant to actually go full force in your promoting, because you know you are doing the right thing.

No wealth can last unless it is built on truth and honesty, offer up as much value to your market as you possibly can and solve as many of their problems as you can.

You will eventually be creating more time and money for yourself if you just apply this to your affiate marketing efforts.
